Prof. Anu Gokhale
Coordinator of the Computer Systems Program at Illinois State University,

Dr. Anu Gokhale is a Professor and Coordinator of the Computer Systems Program at Illinois State University. She was recently a Visiting Scholar at Northeastern University in Boston. Originally from India, she has a master’s degree in physics—electronics from the College of William & Mary, and a doctorate in engineering technology from Iowa State University. Gokhale has published in several refereed journals, written invited papers, and has authored a book Introduction to Telecommunications (1st and 2nd editions). She has given many invited talks, and has experience as a consultant and trainer in industries. She continues to be a Principal Investigator on multi-year projects funded by notable agencies like the National Science Foundation and US Department of Education. She is actively involved with the IEEE through service on the Educational Activities Board, Women In Engineering Committee, and is currently the Conference Chair of the 2010 International Conference on Electro/Information Technology.
